Kathmandu : Popular Nepali comedian Jitu Nepal is stepping into film production with his first venture under his own banner, Karmabhumi Creation Pvt. Ltd. His upcoming movie titled “I AM JIT BAHADUR” is scheduled for nationwide release starting June 19 (Asar 5).
The film is directed by Bollywood filmmaker Suvendu Ghosh, who has also written its story. Jitu Nepal himself has produced the film, while Rajan Simkhada and Dipendra Adhikari serve as co-producers. Nischal Kunwar and Niraj Nepal are the executive producers.
The technical team includes Arbind Narayan Dolai as the director of photography (DOP) and Raj Singh Siddhu as the editor.
The film features a notable cast including Jitu Nepal, Barsha Raut, Priyanka Karki, Sandip Chhetri, Deshbhakta Khanal, and Sarah Sharma.
According to producer Jitu Nepal, the story is entirely fictional and does not reflect his personal life. The narrative revolves around a character named “Jit Bahadur,” which the team says will offer audiences a fresh cinematic experience.
The production team has confirmed that the trailer and songs of the film will be released soon as part of its promotional campaign ahead of its nationwide theatrical release.
