Geneva, February 17 (QNA) : Switzerland’s Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) announced that the new round of talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, scheduled to begin Tuesday in Geneva, will be held behind closed doors.
“Media representatives are not permitted to attend the trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States”, the Ministry said in a statement.
Geneva is hosting talks on February 17 and 18 between delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, as part of a plan to advance diplomatic efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
Spokesperson for the Russian Presidency (the Kremlin), Dmitry Peskov, had previously confirmed that the new round of negotiations would address a broader range of issues than the previous round, including the territorial issue.
